Correct me where I’m wrong

‘Ear, ‘ear

       Not being an expert at either medicine or ballistics, there are a few things that don’t make sense about the damage allegedly suffered by the felonious Republican nominee for the Presidency. 1) If the shooter was facing the stage and the bullet passed from front to back of the victim why was there so much spatter in two lines on his face? 2) That part of the ear is more cartilage than anything else, where did all the blood come from if the injury was no more than “a big mosquito bite”? 3) If the injury was deep enough to release that much blood, how many stitches were needed to close it and what sort of reconstruction had to be done to restore the shape of the ear? I’ve had surgery on that part of my ear and the reconstruction was significant. The dressing was also much more involved than what was shown the next day. 4) Granted that Cong. Ronny Jackson retains a license to practice medicine, was he the only doctor to treat the candidate, and, given his documented record for questionable adherence to the truth, why aren’t there pictures? I’m not saying that either the candidate or the Congressmen are lying to the public or trying to make something out of the tragedy that it wasn’t, but the victim play would be much more impressive if there was more transparent documentation.

I note also that neither the Secret Service nor the local police department have been doing anything other than try to cover their a***s for what was clearly a major screwup from a security standpoint. It’s unfortunate that Mr. Jordan and his colleagues have so degraded the concept of Congressional investigation that now, when we need one to deal with a serious situation, we have no one respectable to conduct it. Please fill in what I’m missing, and correct me where I’m wrong.
