Yes to the shadow cabinet. I called my senators (one of whom is Elizabeth Warren) yesterday to back the idea. But we can't tell the media which Democrat to call; we can only make it clear who will be prepared to answer the call knowledgeably. And, sadly, we can't prevent other Democrats from trying to steal the limelight. Will Rogers was right when he declared, "I belong to no organized political party. I am a Democrat." Still true.

Absolutely agree with a People's cabinet. And it makes perfect sense that the DNC lead the charge. If not, who or what? I am not sure Ken Martin has the chutzpah for this. But I was thrilled to see David Hogg become vice chair. It is time for younger people to drive the bus.

The future will be determined by who can be the loudest and most compelling on social media. That will come from someone of David's generation.
