Dave, your definition of the BBB is spot on. There are others who simply call it the "Murder Bill".
Every day I wonder why so many in Congress are not listening to the public who overwhelmingly dislike the Bullshit Bill and don't approve of the Gestapo tactics employed by a VERY unpopular president.
Seems like political suicide to me to oppose funding for Medicaid and Medicare - to sacrifice the care of the poor and elderly so billionaires can get even richer...doesn't it?
If I were into conspiracy theories, I'd float the idea that the Trumpistas have kompromat on each legislator. Could it be they are more than afraid of bring primaries?
I think that they're more afraid of taking a stand, for or against, than they are of anything else. The most common reaction to questions is turning away or giving a null answer. Very few other than MAGA Mikey are affirmatively supporting the regime, but they lack the courage required to actively oppose. Even Don Bacon, supposedly the most "independent" thinker in the GOP caucus always ends up voting the Party line despite his occasional comments in opposition.
I note as I'm writing this that it sounds increasingly like something out of the Soviet era, what with words like 'regime', and capitalizing Party. Hard to say what's coming next, but I retain the belief that we'll win in the end.
just great, Dave
Thanks Kelly.
